Demise of my friend...After the college was over, everyone was busy in scheduling their life. whether it be a job or be their higher education. Many of us had their jobs in hand through various campus recruitments held. Others had given the entrance for MCA and was waiting for the classes to begin. Eldho had joined in a call centre job. But he met with an accident and all the hopes and aspirations of his parents turned upside down. Everything is never gonna be same ever for them.. Neither for us...
He was leading the ambulance with his grandfathers body which was heading to his mother's house. His grandfather had died that day and the next day was his grandfather's funeral... But on the way, his bike met with an accident and died on the spot... We lost one among us... The moment i heard the news, i was left . It was3.30 in the morning that i saw the message from my friend. I was like .. "is this the way to kidding?" But then only i noticed that another friend of mine had smsed me the same matter.. I was in shock and i didn't know what happened. I was the only one awake in the house. I didn't know whom to call. Was the news true? Why would anyone sms a false news like a death... no it must be true.. I usually wake up lately in the morning and 2day i woke up so early. I cudn't sleep. I kept my eyes opened and lied down in the bed, incapable of even thinking what to do. Suddenly i thought of smsing my friend remya, just to know if she is awake or not. But no response from her side. I lied there for an hour or so and then came the call from remya. We both were in the same stage... We didn't even have enough words to conversate.
As the sun was in position, everything became back in position. We all decided to meet at piravom to go to eldho's house. Through out the way me and my friend talked a lot. About eldho and also about the college. Reaching pravom only the real pain started. At the bus stand, almost everyone had reached. Everyones face was like.. " Don't touch me, I am gonna cry.." The whole atmosphere was very silent and sad.. After everyone reached, we headed to his house.
It was the first time that we were going to his house. Who would have thought that it would be on a day like this... without eldho.. All were hesitating to go, b'coz we had an idea how bad the whole scene wud be. But we had to see him.. Now God hasn't left another option to see him.. Reaching there at the bus stop, we came to know that eldho's body hasn't yet come. And also that his grandfather's funeral is at 1. then only his wil begin. Both are at two different places, a few kilometers apart.. How could a family withstand two sudden deaths..
His house is in the middle of a small rubber plantation. There everyone in the family was sitting outside the house.. Anxiously waiting for their son to come... Every eyes sparkled b'coz of the tear. It was hard for us to face them and to head towards them. Still, we managed to reach there.. Many of our classmates were already there. It was at 1.30 or so that the ambulance came. We couldn't withstand the pain and everyone bursted with tears... We couldn't control the tears that was coming outof the eyes...
Till yesterday we had eldho with us, now we are gonna miss him so much... so so much
